Quantitative Ultrasound Perfusion Analysis In Vitro
ثبت نشده
چکیده
This study describes quantitative perfusion analysis by ultrasound. The main task of this study is to apply a general perfusion model for intravascular contrast agents to ultrasound perfusion analysis. For this investigation a phantom model using a dialyser tubing as the model of the tissue was constructed. Two quantitative parameters (mean transit time and fractional blood volume) are estimated and compared with reference values.

Semi-quantitative segmental perfusion scoring in myocardial perfusion SPECT: visual vs. automated analysis
Introduction: It is recommended that the physician apply at least a semi-quantitative segmental scoring system in myocardial perfusion SPECT. We aimed to assess the agreement between automated semi-quantitative analysis using QPS (quantitative Perfusion SPECT) software and visual approach for calculation of summed stress score (SSS), summed rest score (SRS) and summed difference score (SDS). ...
متن کاملMyocardial perfusion SPECT: Perfusion quantification
Different software tools for quantification of myocardial perfusion SPECT (MPS) studies are routinely used. Several perfusion parameters can be computed automatically. Interpretation of the MPS should start with visual inspection of the rotating planar images, visual analysis of reconstructed SPECT slices and then quantitative analysis to confirm the visual impression. Quantification should be...
متن کاملContrast-enhanced ultrasound analysis of tissue perfusion in tumor-bearing mice following treatment with endostatin combined with radiotherapy
The aim of this study was to observe the effects of Endostar (recombinant human endostatin) and radiotherapy, singly or in combination, on blood flow in mouse tumour tissue using ultrasound imaging. The ultrasound contrast agent, SonoVue, was used for the contrast-enhanced ultrasound examinations. SonoLiver software was used to analyse dynamic vascular patterns (DVPs) in the contrast process. B...
متن کاملThe application of discriminant analysis in differentiation of fibroadenoma and ductal carcinoma of breast tissue using ultrasound velocity measurement
Background: Ultrasound propagation velocity was measured experimentally in normal, fibroadenoma and ductal carcinoma breast tissues, in order to distinguish normal breast tissue from tumors. Materials and methods: In quantitative measurements of ultrasound velocity, 403 breast tissue images were selected, comprising 130 normal breast tissue, 130 fibroadenoma, and 143 ductal carcinoma tumors. Th...
متن کاملQuantitative analysis of tissue perfusion using contrast-enhanced transabdominal ultrasound (CEUS) in the evaluation of the severity
Introduction: contrast enhanced ultrasound provides information on the vascularization of the pancreatic parenchyma, detecting areas of inflammation, necrosis, as well as the residual parenchyma in acute pancreatitis. The aim of our study was to assess the role of contrast enhanced ultrasound in appreciating the severity of acute pancreatitis by quantitative analysis of the degree of vasculariz...
